Arnica's homeopathy products helps Australia win World Cup

Kate Diamantopoulo, Managing Director of Arnica Montana, has been using the Australian Made logo on her products for four years and has no doubt that the logo sends a clear signal about the pureness and quality of her products.

“Our products are made from ingredients that have been rigorously tested. Everything is hand-made and we are very proud of the quality and unique blends that we can offer our customers. 85% of our ingredients are pure and sourced from Australia, so it makes sense for us to use the logo as much as possible. We now use it on all our products, in our brochures and on our website,” explains Kate.

Arnica Montana’s range of homeopathic products and information kits are sought after by consumers from around the world and used by leading professional athletes.

“Homeopathy helps us cope better with the many demands on the human body," explains Kate. "It is tremendously important to educate people about the importance of taking responsibility for their own health and well being and the benefits that homeopathic remedies can offer.”

“Our products are now used by a wide range of people, including professional athletes who have experienced the benefits of natural medicines. Current users of our products include velodrome cyclists, equestrians, polocrosse players, weight lifters, tennis players and ice hockey players."

Australia’s polocrosse team won this year’s World Cup and the assistant coach, Noel Challis, attributes Arnica’s products as being vital to their success. The products are used exclusively by the 8 team members and on their 16 horses.

Close to 50% of Arnica’s on-line consumers are from overseas and Arnica Montana is now actively participating in promotions in export markets such as the U.K., Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Singapore and China.

In 2006, the growing business also participated in the Australian Made, Australian Grown Campaign’s export project in the U.S.

“I am from the UK, where homeopathy is widely accepted. That isn’t so much the case in the Asia-Pacific and the aim of my businesses is to change that. Through these international promotions we’ve been able to communicate with an audience that has not had much exposure to homeopathy in the past and our website now attracts visitors from across the region," explains Kate Diamantopoulo
